New Patients
Your First Visit
In most cases, a first appointment will last about 45 minutes. Our team will file your paperwork, then we’ll talk with you about immediate concerns, your health history, and your dental history. Please be sure to let us know if you are interested in cosmetic dentistry, if you snore, or if you suffer from jaw pain or teeth grinding. Dr. Iverson will examine your teeth, occlusion, head, and neck. He’ll examine your jaw joint function and soft oral tissues, as well. Digital X-rays are taken to help Dr. Iverson diagnose any problems that may be present. In some cases, intraoral photographs and models of your mouth may also be taken to allow for an accurate diagnosis and while planning treatment options. We will then schedule the appropriate amount of time with Julie for your hygiene appointment along with consultation with Dr. Iverson in which he will discuss options for treatment and help you determine the best plan for your individual needs.
