At Hunter Creek Dental, our story is based on a tradition of exceptional service and deep community connection. With a legacy spanning over 90 years, our practice has only changed hands twice—and each time with heartfelt dedication to the people of Montgomery and the surrounding communities.

A Practice Built on Trust: Dr. Geoffrey Iverson, DDS

In 1981, Dr. Geoffrey A. Iverson, DDS began her journey in Montgomery after taking over practice from Dr. Lloyd Richter, who had served the community for 47 years and built the existing building in 1946. Dr. Iverson found Montgomery to be the perfect fit—comparable to her hometown of Forest Lake.

“I kind of jumped in the deep end,” Dr. Iverson recalled, speaking of her move to Montgomery. “But the community felt like home right away.”

Over the next 43 years, Dr. Iverson became a trusted provider and familiar face in town. Alongside her wife Peggy, an elementary school teacher and office administrator, he helped generations of families through exceptional dental care and community involvement.

A New Chapter Begins: Dr. Kellee Stanton, DDS

In 2023, the practice entered a new era as Dr. Kellee N. Kattleman Stanton, DDS officially took the reins. With that transition came a new name—Hunter Creek Dental—honoring a meaningful place in Dr. Kellee’s own journey and symbolizing the next generation of personalized, high-quality dental care.

Dr. Kellee brings vast experience in dentistry, business, education, and patient care. A graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, she combines advanced clinical knowledge with a compassionate approach that fits seamlessly with the legacy Dr. Iverson built.

“This is what Hallmark moments are made of—and I get to live it every day,” said Dr. Kellee. “It’s an honor to carry this legacy forward.”

Since joining the practice, Dr. Kellee has won the admiration of both staff and patients. Her focus on continuing education, modern techniques, and meaningful relationships ensures that Hunter Creek Dental stays current while preserving the personal feel Montgomery families have known for decades.

Our dedicated team–many of whom have been with the practice for over 20 years—continues to be the heart of Hunter Creek Dental. Their warmth, professionalism, and unwavering support for both Dr. Kellee and our patients are what make our office feel like home.

“Our team is the same, and we all get along very well—no turnover,” said Dental Assistant Diane Schleis.

“Dr. Kellee’s personality makes her so dang easy to talk to,” added Hygienist Julie Paur.
